山东省公共经济与公共政策研究基地是经山东省哲学社会科学规划领导小组批准命名成立的，挂靠山东大学的山东省社会科学规划重点研究基地。该研究基地于2007年11月正式揭牌，山东大学校长、博士生导师樊丽明教授任基地负责人。

研究基地的职能是：第一，开展学术研究与咨询，针对学科前沿和重大理论与实践问题，组织高水平科研项目，产出创新性成果；第二，搭建交流平台，组织学术交流；第三，培养和造就高素质的学术带头人和中青年学术骨干，培养博士、硕士等高级专门人才，壮大社会科学研究队伍。

研究基地的目标是：通过5-8年的努力，力争把公共经济与公共政策研究基地建设成为省内首位、国内有重大影响的重点研究和咨询基地，活跃开放的学术交流基地，高水平的公共经济与政策高层次人才培养基地。

基地围绕公共经济与公共政策的主要研究领域，整合了山东大学乃至山东省的公共政策研究资源，除了公共经济学资源以外，还涉及政治学、社会学、公共管理、公共卫生、环境学等多个学科。以经济学为主、注重多学科公共政策资源的交叉融合构成了本研究基地的鲜明特征。

基地下设6个研究中心——公共经济（财政税收）研究中心；公共卫生政策研究中心；公共管理与公民自治研究中心；社会福利政策研究中心；生态环境政策研究中心；公共经济与政策计量研究中心。研究成员由山东大学相关学院在职教学科研人员和外聘专家、学者组成。

Center for Public Economy and Policy Research of Shandong Province

The Center for Public Economy and Policy Research of Shandong Province（CPEPR）was founded on November 29th, 2007. CPEPR is a key research center of Shandong Society Project Planning and it is based in Shandong University, which was approved by Shandong Philosophy Social Science Planning Leading Group.

The functions of CPEPR:

1.Carries out academic researches and offers consulting service;

2.Sets up platforms for academic exchanges;

3.Cultivates high-caliber academic leaders,young and middle-aged backbones and postgraduates.

The aim of CPEPR:

By means of five to eight years’s efforts，we will build CPEPR into a research and consultancy center which is the first place in Shandong Province and have great influences nationwide; a academic exchange center which is open-minded and vigorous; an education center for cultivating high quality talents in public economy and public finance.

Around the research domains of public economy and public finance, CPEPR integrates relevant researching resources of Shandong University and even of Shandong Province. Apart from public economy and public finance，CPEPR focuses on political science，sociology，public management，public health，environtology and so on. Mainly relying on economics but also emphasizing interdisciplinary fusions of public policy resources becomes the distinctive features of CPEPR.

Econometric for Public Economy and Policy research center.

Researchers of CPEPR consist of relevant teaching & research staffs of Shandong University and external experts.
